Wolf, Lackey take Frosty 50 crowns; Berberich, Valdes conquer 25
Kristen Wolf and John Lackey rode their bikes to victory in the Frosty 50 today. Wolf easily outdistanced the competition to post a 3:40:54 finishing time. Lackey pulled away from second place finisher Jens Beck in the last two miles to win in 3:09:47. Julie Berberich and David Valdes also rode bikes enroute to winning the Frosty 25. Congratulations to everyone who came out and participated.

The award banquet takes place on January 17 at 5:30pm at Chain Reaction Cycles.
The Race
The Frosty Bottom 50/25 is Chain Reaction Cycle's annual winter endurance event held entirely on the multi-use trails around Anchorage. The 2010 event is slated for January 16.
The temperature can be cold...very cold. You may ski, bike, or run the event. If the 50-miler sounds daunting, sign up for the 25-miler.
