About Us

Dan Nordendale

A relatively recent transplant from Spokane, Dan received his Serotta bike fit certification in 2001 and has many hundreds of professional bike fits under his belt. He rides anything and everything. Fast.

Dan is a competitive mountain bike and cyclocross racer. Under extreme peer pressure, he has been know to race his road bike as well. Triathlon is out for Dan, since he would drown within the first 100 yards.

An ace mechanic and owner of countless bikes, Dan is known to accept malted beverage bribes. In reality, he not only accepts beer bribes, he actively encourages them.

Dave Coleman

Dave is the only USA Cycling certified mechanic in Alaska. In addition to wrenching at the ITU World Championships in Beijing, China, he has been a team wrench at ITU World Cup events as well as multiple USA Triathlon National Championships. Dave is also a Barnett's-certified mechanic.

Dave does not have a driver's license but plans on getting one some decade. He does drink a lot of beer though. This might explain the many injuries....

Will Ross

Will is part of our awesome team of mechanics and weighs over 90 pounds.

He is an immensely talented athlete and a bona fide professional triathlete on the Xterra off-road triathlon circuit. Winner of multiple Hammerman Triathlon events, he also holds a USA Cycling pro license for mountain biking. He kills it on a cyclocross bike too, and has won multiple ArcticCross cyclocross titles.

Despite his gifted athleticism, Will is a humble guy and always willing to help anyone at anytime.

Amber Stull

In addition to being a wicked fast triathlete, Amber is a Serotta and F.I.S.T certified professional bike fitter. She has years of bike shop experience and is an expert level road and mountain biker.

A nationally competitive age-group triathlete, Amber has won many local road races and has captured the overall ArcticCross cyclocross title mutiple times.

Amber could probably beat her husband in a leg wrestling contest.

Jamey Stull - Co-Owner

Jamey is a Barnett's-certified bike mechanic and has worked in bike shops his entire adult life. His deep knowledge and mechanical ability provides the cornerstone to Chain Reaction's technical expertise.

In addition to having the lowest body-fat percentage in the shop, Jamey is an expert road, mountain, and cyclocross biker. He has many top finishes in both disciplines and competes regularly in out-of-state events.

Jamey is a former president of the Arctic Bicycle Club and an active member of the Road Division Board. He is a founding member of the Kaladi-Subway cycling team.

Bill Fleming - Co-Owner

Bill is a Serotta and F.I.S.T certified professional bike fitter. He gained his advanced fit certificate from Serotta in 2009. He has attended advanced bike fit seminars from Andy, Pruitt, Paul Swift, Jim Martin, and Maury Hall.

He does not even come close to having the lowest body-fat percentage in the shop, yet still races road, mountain, and cyclocross bikes as much as possible. He has completed triathlons of every distance, from sprint to Ironman. He has completed many winter endurance races, including the Iditarod Invitational twice.

Bill is a past race director for the Hammerman and State Championship triathlons, and is the current bike course director for the Gold Nugget Triathlon. He is also the web guy for the Road Division of the Arctic Bicycle Club.
